The Skiclub St. Lorenzen, which is Dr. Martin Hellweger’s hometown, has been operating since 1990. The club aims to bring young people to St. Lorenzen and the surrounding region and to drum up enthusiasm for skiing and racing sports.
Since it was founded in 1990, the association has proved very successful. Special success stories include a state championship title in giant slalom and slalom when the club competed in the Grand Prix racing group state championships. Other success stories include sixth place in slalom at Italian championships and 12th place in giant slalom. IN 2007, the KRONBERG Gruppe first offered the association 4,000 euros in funds. The association was able to buy 20 ski suits for its members. In 2010, the Skiclub St. Lorenzen received 3,000 euros in support.
