A young artist is taking Berlin by storm backed by Kronberg International. Julia Bornefeld opened her studio this year in the Kronberg Remise in the Prenzlauer Berg district. The Kronberg Gruppe made a space 140 square metres in size available to the artist. This is where the 48-year-old works on her multimedia projects, which have already been exhibited in many national and international galleries and museums.
Julia Bornefeld also uses the studio as a creative platform. Under the name “polyphonic fields” she and Cultural Manager Gabriel Felder invite literati, musicians and other creative people to expand their “cultural memories” and to give added impulses to the artistic landscape.
