1990

  • KRONBERG Group enters German property market
  • Acquires several properties in Berlin

1995

  • Adds business sector to its company strategy with the “Shopping Centre Development”
  • Starts developing the multifunctional Jute Centre, Delmenhorst (Bremen) with a total floor space of approx. 30,000 m²

1996

  • Enters Czech property market with the purchase, renovation and lease of the Kronberg Building in downtown Prague with a total floor space of approx. 5,000 m²

1998

  • Expands company strategy with the “Development Residential” business sector.
  • Purchases site and implements  “Quartier KRONBERG” project in Berlin-Mitte with a total floor space of approx. 9,000 m² in a partnership with the Bauverein zu Hamburg – a company that is listed on the stock exchange.

2002

  • KRONBERG acquires a shareholding in CONWERT Immobilien Invest AG which is listed on the stock exchange. Dr Martin Hellweger is elected to the board of directors of CONWERT Immobilien Invest AG.
  • Joint venture with CONWERT Immobilien Invest AG to establish a portfolio of   various property stocks in the residential sector
  • Purchase of approx. 500 units with a total floor space of approx. 47,000 m²

2004

  • Sale of KRONBERG’s shares in Kronberg/CONWERT joint venture to CONWERT Immobilien Invest AG, Vienna

2005

  • Joint venture with Pirelli RE Milan to work on the German property market.
  • Acquires 1,600 units with a total floor space of approx. 105,000 m² in partnership with Pirelli RE and CONWERT

2006

  • Acquires Alliance Versicherung’s property package in Austria consisting of 66 units and a total floor space of approx. 120,000 m² in partnership with Pirelli RE, ECO and CONWERT Immobilien Invest AG.

2007

  • Sale of KRONBERG’s share in the KRONBERG/Pirelli joint venture P&K which was KRONBERG and Pirelli’s operating platform to Pirelli RE Deutschland GmbH
  • Joint venture with Puma Brandenburg to work on the Quartier Mendelsohn project, Kurfürstendamm – Cicerostr. Berlin
  • Acquisition of share in S.I.G. RE B.V. Amsterdam. The SIG Holding aims to establish a property portfolio in Germany in partnership with Pirelli RE, GPI, ROEV, Giardi Group and Cordifin

2008

  • Joint venture with Italian industrialists’ families to establish a portfolio of various property stocks in the residential sector. The goal of 600 units with a total floor space of approx. 41,300 m² was achieved within the year.

2009

  • Acquisition of 1032 COLONIA Real Estate (Cologne) units in Berlin with a total  floor space of approx. 76,000 m² in partnership with CONWERT Immobilien Invest AG which is listed on the stock exchange.

2010

  • KRONBERG International joins BF.direkt AG with 13.3 % of shares. The other    associates are among others ERGO Versicherungsgruppe (Munich RE) with 27.2   % and the international Bankhaus Bodensee AG with 6 %.
  • Dr. Hellweger is appointed a member of BF.direkt’s board of directors.
  • Sale of share in joint venture with Puma Brandenburg to Shore Capital.
  • Joint venture with CG Group to realize a development for a residential and commercial building in Leipzig city centre.

2011

  • Sale of Resident Berolinum Liegenschafts GmbH to a French investor institution. This property package was acquired jointly with the CONWERT Immobilien Invest AG with 1,032 units and a total floor space of approx. 76,000 m²
  • Joint venture with the Ärztekammer für Steiermark and transactions led by KRONBERG to acquire a residential property package in Berlin with 970 units and approx. 69,961 m² for maintenance. KRONBERG took over the asset management.
  • Sale of 5.3 %-share in SIG RE BV Netherlands, which owns the following three portfolios: Resident Baltic, Resident Saxony and Resident West

2012

  • The KRONBERG RE Deutschland GmbH, which is a company in KRONBERG International, acquired a portfolio of 37 residential and commercial properties (approx. 1,210 units) and a total floor space of 72,387 m² in east Germany.
  • KRONBERG acquires a majority share in the project company NOLA Invest (Berlin) with the aim of developing and building 13 new luxury penthouse apartments on the top floor of a historical building in Berlin-Mitte with a total floor space of approx. 2,600 m² and which is right beside the Humboldt University.

2013

  • Acquisition of a 52.8 % share in SIG RE BV with three property portfolios with   regional emphasis in North Rhine-Westphalia, Saxony and northern Germany. The portfolios have 148 properties with 1,931 units and a rentable area of 126,064 m².
